Dining halls all over, yes it’s dining hall food but if you’re near isr at lunch time but Ike at dinner time you got food right there. Housing is decently organized, whenever I’ve put in a maintenance request it’s been fixed within a business day. Not exactly a plus but proximity to engineering quad isn’t super important as a freshman.

And it’s UIUC, every building is going to heavily lean liberal.UIUC has plans but so do some of the private dorms (Newman, Hendrick House, etc.) You are 1/2 mile or more from any place offering a plan.
