There is some dispute regarding the dates on some serial numbers and your gun may actually be a year off from what is listed. The precise shipping date as "lettered" can be several years off depending on model. A SMITH WESSON 60 pistol is currently worth an average price of $660.03 new and $567.41 used . You might want to check and make sure the ejector rod is screwed in all the way, it can back out a turn or two and sometimes cause the gun to lock up.
